I was born in 1985 (with a funky birthmark on my eyebrow) and spent my childhood in a little village on the border between Flanders and Wallonia. Playing Lego and Sega, drawing creatures and robots while watching Looney Tunes and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

After finishing my art education in college, I found my passion at the Brussels film school RITCS where I studied an Animation master program for 5 years. I graduated in 2009 and after an internship I started working as a Character Animator at Blue Spirit Studios and Walking the Dog.

After 8 years of payrolling, lots of great learnings, loosing my hair (and my funky eyebrow) and moving to Antwerp and Leuven, I started as an independent freelancer in 2017.

Studio Carré Moiré was born as a one-man band assisting brands, agencies, studios and humans. I'm fortunate to do what I love most: turning ideas into (e)motion.
